Green Shed Cafe Project - Disability Handrails

DDA compliant disability handrailing installed using the Interclamp DDA Assist range to provide smooth continuous in-line hand railing for public access to this retail unit, specially designed to help compliance with the public access requirements of the Equality Act 2010 (formerly DDA) and Building Regulations Part M 2013.

The handrail tubing was finished in Safety Yellow to provide a high contrasting finish and the fittings hot-dipped galvanised for extended corrosion resistance.

Where DDA compliant handrailing was not required, the standard Interclamp Safety Post range was installed for safety guardrailing and fall prevention. This also demonstrates the compatibility between the DDA Assist and Standard fitting ranges.
