751 - DDA Assist Saddle Fitting
Designed to attach a freestanding handrail to an upright post on a variable angle. The 751 Interclamp Assist fitting comes complete with the 751M saddle, 173F female swivel, bolt and nut unassembled.
The 751 Interclamp fitting is designed for intermediate support of horizontal galvanised handrail tubes where no joining of the tubes are required. They are also used when fitting the 724 Assist handrail end termination to the upright post.
Although the saddles of rivet-on Assist fittings are primarily designed to fit snugly on C42 diameter tubes, they may also accommodate D48 tubes with a slight central gap when fitted. Please note, however, that for relevant UK applications, D48 size handrails do not meet the dimensional requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) regulations and Building Regulations Part M:2004.
