The fittings are hot-dipped galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 and a secondary additional coating is applied, ensuring exceptional longevity and a corrosion resistant surface for extended life. This translates to fewer replacements and less material wasted over the product’s lifespan.

• High Recycled Content: Each Interclamp fitting is manufactured from a very high percentage of recycled material, reducing reliance on virgin resources and lowering the product’s carbon footprint.

• End-of-Life Recyclability: When Interclamp fittings eventually reach the end of life, they can be easily recycled due to their highly sustainable material content, avoiding landfill waste and contributing to a circular economy.

• Recycled packaging: All Interclamp packaging is fully recyclable and hence exempt from the EU plastic packaging levy. A minimum of 30% of Interclamp plastic packaging is manufactured from recycled material and hence does not incur UK plastic packaging tax.

Company Pledge

• Interclamp pledges to reach net zero by 2050. To reach this goal, an annual reduction target of 5% has been introduced starting from 1st November 2023. In order to assess performance against this target, the company’s carbon footprint will be re-assessed on an annual basis.
